4 Schools push for minority science, mathematics students

Four of Michigan 's state-funded universities plan next week to launch a partnership to increase the number of underrepresented minority students pursuing a bachelor's degree in science and mathematics. Wayne State and others will kick off the Michigan Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation Jan. 23 at U of M's new Orchestra Place office in Detroit .
